The Alcatel-Lucent Interactive Media Manager is an application development and management solution for interactive advertising (RFI, telescoped and po rtal destination sites) and enhanced TV applications (voting, competitions and polls), including those based on EBIF and tru2way technologies. It provides a ready-to-deploy, end-to-end portfolio of applications and tools that can be used by cable Multiple Service Operators (MSOs), broadcasters, and advertisers to quickly and efficiently create, manage and deliver innovative, revenue-generating interactive TV services.

By providing a comprehensive set of templates and functionality, the Interactive Media Manager enables the creation and management of unlimited interactive applications for multiple platforms and devices. It fully supports all MSO standards compliance requirements for EBIF and tru2way technologies across set-top boxes (STB), user agents, head-end, and delivery infrastructure no matter how complex and different the requirements may be for each MSO. This integrated and flexible approach can reduce the cost of creating and managing interactive TV applications by over 80 percent.
