This May, at the 2010 Cable Show in Los Angeles, CA, we were proud to demo a prototype CSPAN EBIF application from Ball State University.

The Ball State C-SPAN App is a use-case that takes the Senate Confirmation Hearings of Justice Sotomayor from the summer of 2009. This was an inter-disciplinary effort between Ball State students and faculty from Political Science, Computer Science, Journalism Graphics and Telecommunications departments. The app was designed and developed by seven students and two faculty members.

We demo'd the app for the media and CTOs from across the cable industry, as well as the senior team at CSPAN. Everyone who saw the app (a use-case that takes the Senate Confirmation Hearings of Justice Sotomayor from the summer of 2009) was impressed.
